Hi, as requested you are sysop here now. -- Looxix

Un pezzu di travagghiu beddu![cancia]

Ciau Sabine - you have done an incredible job! Through this process, I would hope that over time we would synchronise most words between wikipedia and wiktionary (otherwise we would all look a little silly). Do you want a hand setting up other parts of the infrastructure like the cummunity portal, etc. Once again, a lot of our terms on the left hand side should align - let me know - that is at least one thing I have had a lot of practice doing lately! Also, I had set up a page in wikipedia of preferred words, i.e. forms of words that were likely to be used within an encyclopedia. I will keep updating it (there is not much there), but over time, I will simply rely on wiktionary. Salutamu. --Pippu d'Angelo 01:37, 13 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Ciau Sabine - I never realised that the structure and tools were identical with wikipedia - as I said - since I have spent the last few months setting up wikipedia (you know, all the behind the scenes stuff), I would be able to help you do the same here in a fraction of the time - all the tabs, toolbox, links, etc. I would simply use the terminology in wikipedia - to date no one has complained and Sergiu went over it in the early days - but - I need sysop to be able to do it - if that sounds too drastic, that's fine, I would understand - I prefer to concentrate on Wikipedia anyway, as I have said before, but if you would like me to have a go - then I will happily do it - you dicide and let me know, and then tell me where I apply - thanks and salutamu.

Quick response[cancia]

Ciau Sabine - I'm just tidying up a couple of templates - I didn't understand what you meant by i comuni - as in related titles? I'm not sure what you have in mind - but with all the automatic loadings from sergio's work and all the empty titles you have already - isn't that heaps to worry about for the moment? I'm only just starting to understand how involved each page is - it's not just a quick definition, and then on to the next one. I am also just understanding that all the other languages have their words here so that you can look up in either Sicilian or whatever. Wow! Have you got a couple of decades to spare?! Maybe we can stick with the 5 or 6 main languages we have for the moment, and let some other enthusiast worry about others well into the future. I'll be on for about another hour and then it's beddy byes! Salutamu. --pippudoz 11:00, 29 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Growing[cancia]

Ciau Sabine, I've kept noticing that the word cound was going up, but I couldn't see where the words were! It's just dawned on me that if I use the lower case letters in the index, it takes me to a list of words, but if I use the upper case, it doesn't seem to take me anywhere. Anyway - it is truly incredible how much you have achieved! --210.11.146.141 11:41, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Note[cancia]

Ciau Sabine. I note that if you are on a page, and you click an (edit) next to a sub-title - it doesn't take you to that part of the page to complete (like wikipedia), it actually takes you to the template - where I have already mistakenly deleted one template because of this - is that normal for wiktionary? I read your latest message to my userpage, and while I agree with everything you say - I think it is going to be really hard to mobilise people. After a few months of advertising wikipedia, I have had very little success motivating anyone to get involved. At first, I thought that wiktionary might be easier to use for those who are unsure - but I'm not sure if that is the case! Maybe as a first step, we include links to the two instruction pages I translated to help them get a feel for what is going on. Keep in mind, if I made a lot of mistakes having a wikipedia background, then anyone coming in cold will be completely lost. I think the take up will be very slow, and we will need patience, but as you said on the forum this morning (my time) - everyone can at least start looking through words looking for obvious errors - even if they choose to mention them on the forum - that would be ok initially.

Cordiali saluti. --Sabine (discussioni) 05:00, 25 giugn 2014 (UTC)[rispunni]
Hi Sabine. Same also applies for
  • admin/bureaucrat rights for nap.wikipedia.org
If you do not wish to continue those rights, they can be resigned at m:SRP Thanks Billinghurst (discussioni) 12:38, 29 giugn 2014 (UTC)[rispunni]

Hi, I don't have problems having these rights. Actually I do not use them unless I am requested to have a look by the community. Sometimes it might be handy if someone can do, because, in particular on relatively small projects, the other Bureaucrats/Admins are eventually not availabe. I stopped working on the Wikimedia projects due to family reasons, but this does not mean that I don't care. So it's not up to me to decide what is best for a wiki :-) --Sabine (discussioni) 06:54, 17 mar 2017 (UTC)[rispunni]

Your advanced permissions on scn.wiktionary[cancia]

Hello. A policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus in 2013. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.

You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on this wiki. Since this wiki, to the best of our knowledge, does not have its own rights review process, the global one applies.

If you want to keep your advanced permissions, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. A community notice about this process has been also posted on the local Village Pump of this wiki. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at the m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights.

If you wish to resign your rights, please request removal of your rights on Meta.

If there is no response at all after one month, stewards will proceed to remove your administrator and/or bureaucrat rights. In ambiguous cases, stewards will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review. If you have any questions, please contact the stewards.

Yours faithfully.--علاء (discussioni) 20:06, 7 jin 2020 (UTC)[rispunni]
